Jody Bell and Caroline Greer met their freshman year at the College of Charleston as randomly assigned roommates.  Over that first year they became school partners, business partners, interns, and friends! They bonded over a shared desire to create a long and impactful change in their communities.

MEET JODY BELL: Originally from Connecticut, Jody is a sophomore in the Honors College at College of Charleston studying Finance and Computer Information Systems.  A long-time advocate for women in business, she went through the first class of  Girls With Impact,  a woman focused mini-MBA course, in 2017. She went on to launch her first venture, In Case of Deportation, at 16, which received international press. She then went on to serve as an Editor in Chief for Girls With Impact.  Currently, she remains active in the start-up and philanthropic field and was scheduled to be a TedX Charleston speaker in September 2020 which was unfortunately delayed.  Hopefully, we get to listen to her soon!

MEET CAROLINE  GREER: From Virginia, Caroline is a sophomore in the Honors College at College of Charleston studying Economics, Data Science, and Religious Studies. A veteran pitcher and lover of Hackathons, Caroline is in the current Girls with Impact Cohort which Jody graduated. Currently, she is a data analyst at In Place Impact Charleston, where she works alongside business giants such as Stuart Williams and our one and only Jody Bell.
